Jasen A. Wroblewski


Jasen A. Wroblewski, 34, of Charles City, died Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services for Jasen Wroblewski will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Kent Sovine of Bethany Alliance Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.

The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Jasen Alan Wroblewski was born March 1, 1976, in Monticello, the son of Stephen Luensmann and Elisa Wilcox. He attended school in Waterloo and Clarksville. While attending the Clarksville school, they wanted to promote Jasen to the talented and gifted program, but Jasen declined. He was employed at Kentucky Fried Chicken as a manager and Diversified. Jasen also was a handyman, working lots of odd-end jobs. He enjoyed attending the Bethany Alliance Church. His interests included his dog Rosco, playing pinball, four wheeling, snowmobiling, art work, computer and video games and spending time with his family and friends.

Living family members include his son, Jamison Zirbel of Charles City; mother, Elisa Winkey of Waterloo; three brothers, Donald (Danell) Wroblewski of Vinton, Jeremiah Wroblewski of Charles City and Arron Winkey of Waterloo; sister, Melissa Winkey of Waterloo; many nieces and nephews; one uncle, Earl Wilcox of Missouri; two aunts, Terri (Jim) Anderson of Maquoketa and Jerelyn Ehlinger of Davenport; and many friends

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Stephen; significant other, Rachael Fisher and his dog, Rosco.
